Combination Unit Fridge Cleaning Instructions

Please prepare your Combination Unit for return as outlined to ensure a refund of your cleaning deposit. Our team will inspect and document the unit's condition upon return.

  1. Defrosting: Unplug and defrost your unit at least 24 hours before departure.
  2. Cleaning Solution: Mix 3-4 tablespoons of baking soda with warm water. Use a sponge or soft cloth with this solution to wipe down the unit. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasives, and metal scouring pads.
  3. Microwave: Clean and dry the interior and exterior, including the inside ceiling and the microwave plate.
  4. Refrigerator/Freezer: Remove all food and drinks. Clean food splatters, spills, stains, crumbs, and debris. Don't forget the inside ceiling of each compartment.
  5. Drip Tray: Clean the drip tray located at the bottom back of most units. Note: EcoMax units don't have an accessible drip tray.
  6. Drying: Wipe down the entire unit with a dry towel and leave fridge/freezer doors open to air-dry.

If the standards are met, you will receive your cleaning deposit within 4-6 weeks via check to the address on your account. Update your address on Bedloft.com if it has changed.
