Combination units equipped with mini fridges, freezers and microwaves provide the perfect setup for all your noshing needs. But sometimes, pesky buildup can prevent you from returning your appliance in tip-top shape. Follow the cleaning instructions below to ensure your cleaning deposit is refunded!
Step #1: 24 hours before your return window, remove all food and drinks and unplug your refrigerator and freezer unit and leave its doors open for defrosting.
Step #2: Create a cleaning solution by mixing three to four tablespoons of baking soda with warm water. Wipe down the refrigerator and freezer unit, including the drip tray located on the back of the unit, by soaking a soft cloth in the solution and towel dry the unit after (Note: EcoMax units do not have an accessible drip tray).
Step #3: Use the same solution to clean the interior and exterior of your microwave unit. Don’t forget the glass plate!
Step #4: After cleaning and drying the refrigerator, freezer, and microwave, leave the door on each appliance open to prevent moisture accumulation.
Step #5: Return your sparkly clean unit!
